On Thursday evening four unions – CGT, Force Ouvrière (FO), FSU, and Solidaires – and four youth organizations – FIDL, MNL, UNEF, and La Voix Lycéenne – called for a general strike on Tuesday to demand "higher wages and to defend the right to strike."
